About me
Over 20+ years of experience in GIS implementation at all scales, from small personal systems to multi user cloud environments. Focus on Data Integration Workflows, Data Science, and Business Intelligence. I enjoy connecting disparate systems and using automations to do so. I have been a member of IMAGIN since 2003 and on the Board of Directors since 2019. I have spent a career working in Local Government, but also teach university curriculum as a side job. In addition to working for Ann Arbor, I am currently employed as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Michigan teaching graduate coursework in spatial analysis, and also at Eastern Michigan University as a distance learning instructor for a few southeastern Michigan High Schools. I am happily married to my wife Rae and we have two boys; toddler Leonardo of 3 years and baby Lorenzo of 10 months who is already enjoying his first trip to crystal mountain. We have an adopted Greyhound. (who was also at IMAGIN 2022, 2023, and 2024) I enjoy hiking, backpacking, running, paddle sports, and just about anything outdoors.
