This session will focus on GIS data needs for the evolving NG9-1-1 landscape from the national level and what impacts there may be specifically for Michigan. This session will highlight Michigan’s ongoing work to help prepare and provision local GIS data in support of NG911. It will also highlight future indoor mapping and 3D building considerations for NG911 and public safety.
