MI Prevention utilizes GIS to create safe, healthy, and resilient communities and provide sustainable community risk reduction programs to minimize fire deaths, injuries, and property loss within the state of Michigan. This is done by fostering collaborative relationships, implementing education programs, establishing GIS data and analytics, and developing more strategic community outreach.
