About me
Cyndi Rachol is the USGS National Map Liaison for Michigan and Ohio. She transferred into the National Geospatial Program’s User Engagement section in July 2021 after spending the previous 22 years working as a hydrologist in the USGS’ Upper Midwest Water Science Center, where she held research interests in dam removal analysis, natural channel design evaluation, flood inundation modeling, and water quality monitoring in both urban and agricultural settings.
